About SieMatic Certified
Enduring German design, documented for its next home.
What is SieMatic Certified?

SieMatic Certified brings authentic showroom and display kitchens into a second home through the partnership between SieMatic and Aurora Circularity. Each set’s condition, configuration and included components are documented.
Certified is about knowing what you are buying: the identity of the kitchen, its disclosed condition and the pieces included in the sale. Review the product photography and item schedule with your sales consultant so the kitchen’s chain of custody and practical requirements are clear before purchase.
An existing set offers exceptional value while keeping premium cabinetry and materials in use.

Contemporary since 1929.

SieMatic’s history begins in 1929, when August Siekmann’s company presented its kitchen furniture at the Leipzig Trade Fair.
In 1960, the SieMatic 60 introduced the integrated handle strip, a milestone in the manufacturer’s design history. Later collections explored minimalist, classic and modular ways of organising the kitchen.
Manufacturing and development remain at the company’s founding site in Westphalia. SieMatic’s company history records its ownership by the Nison Group since 2020.
A considered way to choose an exceptional kitchen.

Aurora Circ helps clients understand the cabinetry, finishes, hardware, appliances and practical requirements of each set before they commit.
The result is a more transparent path from an exceptional display kitchen to a space designed around the way you live now.
KBB reported Hans Henkes’s appointment as SieMatic North America President and CEO on 21 February 2023.
Manufacturing with resources in mind.
SieMatic’s 2023 sustainability report describes the following manufacturing practices. These are historical manufacturer statements, not measurements for Aurora Circ’s resold kitchens.
- Heating and energy
- Wood chips and production offcuts heat the Löhne factory, making its heating largely independent of gas and oil.
- Material reuse
- Suitable offcuts of at least 1.08 m² enter automated storage for reuse in new cuts.
- Packaging
- Corrugated packaging uses 100% recycled material and is recyclable. Automated sizing reduced packaging materials by a reported 18%.
- Quality and environmental management
- The report identifies DIN EN ISO 9001, DIN EN ISO 14001 and the DGM Golden M furniture quality mark.
- German production and processing
- Over 90% of materials are produced or finalised in Germany.
FSC®
The report records FSC certification since 2010, addressing responsibly managed wood sourcing, with licence C100085.
CARB II / TSCA Title VI
It records a 2019 worldwide production change to US formaldehyde-emission standards for composite wood products.
Current certificate validity and the records applicable to a selected kitchen must be checked separately.
